The following is a few suggestions on what to bring with you on your vacation to Rocky Manor

v Linens - The cabins are furnished with pillows and blankets only, please be sure to bring bathroom linens (towels, wash cloths etc) as well as beach towels and bedding (fitted and top sheets, pillow cases, etc). If you have a favorite pillow or blanket you may choose to bring them along as well. For bed sizing, please refer back to the webpage for specifics on each cabin bedroom configuration.

v Disposables – The cabins are fully furnished with cookware and dishes, but campers are expected to supply disposable products including: paper towels, napkins, plastic/paper plates and cups (for use outside the cabins, beach, etc), toilet paper, tissues, foil, food storage bags, garbage bags, etc.

v Beach Furniture Etc – We do not supply beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, etc. However, there are several benches and picnic tables on the property. We do not supply life vests for boating and water sports so please plan accordingly. Rowboats and paddleboats are available for rental.

v Outdoor Cooking – Each Cabin has an outdoor fireplace for grilling and/or campfires. A single load of softwood for the outdoor fireplaces and a single load of hardwood for indoor fireplaces is provided. Additional wood can be purchased locally or from us. Some campers choose to bring small charcoal or tabletop propane grills.

v Miscellaneous – Some other items to consider are the following….

- Flashlight or candles; useful for navigating the property in the dark and occasionally, the power will go out in the summertime due to the periodic thunderstorm.

- Small window fan or box fan; the cabins are well ventilated but are not air-conditioned.

- Small Television with DVD/VCR; the cabins do not have cable television or hookup at this time, there is poor antenna reception at the south shore location and decent reception at the Bunker Hill location.

- Calling Card; the south shore road location does not have cell phone reception. There is a public pay phone, however, the most economical way to utilize it is with a calling card
